Possible Taj Mahal / Varanasi Extension

There is a possibility of a three day Agra extension. Be aware that the Taj Mahal is currently in a state of flux due to major restoration work being done during the whole of 2017. This means that some part of the building will be covered by scaffolding and plastic sheeting at some point or another. Nobody can get an answer as to when the main dome is to be covered and for how long.

The works are currently due to finish around March 2018, however, it’s India, and things have been known to drag on much longer. I have someone on the ground there monitoring the situation and should the main parts of the build get done during the summer then we will offer the Agra extension. So just beware of any operator offering a photo tour that includes the Taj, as you might be disappointed. Should the situation not look good around the time of the tour then we will be offering a three-day Varanasi extension. Kindly add a note to your enquiry should either of these be of interest.

Please Note: We must receive at least a 50% deposit in order to hold your spot on the workshop. This workshop is booked on a first come, first served basis. The itinerary is subject to change.
